Microsoft Tablet show up on 2010

After Apple released the Apple Table few weeks back, Microsoft is indeed planning to show up the Microsoft Table as a counterpart of Apple Tablet maybe.

If online reports are to be believed then Microsoft is indeed working on a tablet computer, much like Apple's Tablet. Though we're quite sure Apple will announce its own tablet in the beginning of 2010, no idea when Microsoft will come up with its Tablet PC.


It is known that the MS machine would be something like a smaller Surface device, and is currently called “Alchemy Ventures”.[Pclaunches]

LG's Ion-based Nettop - LG XPION X30

Via Mobilewhack, I just found out the latest LG gadgets on the market, the LG XPION X30 Ion-based Nettop with features an Atom N230 CPU, 2GB of RAM 250GB HDD and comes with a Windows Vista OS. It has four USB ports and weighs only 2.4 lbs.

It consumes only 40 watts of power and can be easily mounted to the back of LCDs that have provisions for such nettops. The LG XPION X30 nettop is scheduled for release in Korea tomorrow. Read More>>

ASUS UL80 with N61Vg all together..

Windows 7 has inspired an expected new model bonanza among PC manufacturers, and ASUS is no exception. Just for starters the new UL80 (pictured running Windows Vista) and N61Vg offer up some "mainstream" prices and performance up against that Win 7 hotness. The UL80 makes like a thin and light, with a new dual-core CULV SU7300 processor and a quoted 12 hours of battery life, but also works in switchable discreet graphics, Turbo33 tech for selective overclocking the processor, and a disc drive. Lenovo all-in-one Desktop Computer

Lenovo has release a new all-in-one desktop computer named IdeaCentre 100 which seems pretty valuable for the starting price of $400, which can raise depending on the hardware you chose.

Anyhow, the IdeaCentre C100 features a 18.5-inch monitor with a 16:9 aspect radio and a resolution of 1600×900 pixels. There are two options for the processor: a single-core or dual-core 1.6GHz Atom. iPod Nano 5G with Video on board..

Yesterday, Apple reps flew in to show the media their new line-up of iPods. Of the lot, the iPod Nano 5G took the spotlight with a number of new features, including a 0.3 megapixel video camera.

With a bigger screen (2.2-inches vs. 2-inches) and much more features, the iPod Nano 5G will continue to be the most top-selling iPod in the line.

HP has finally unveiled their very own version of the 11.6″ netbook. The HP Mini 311 will also feature a more powerful graphics chip, an NVidia Ion LE.


Will come pre-installed with Windows XP Home Edition SP3 and a DDR3 RAM is a welcome upgrade (the first netbook to have DDR3). It’s a bit heavy though at 3.22 pounds. Android OS on LG's phone

LG’s making one of those Android OS phone too. Earlier codenamed as LG Etna, the LG GW620 handset has a resistive touchscreen and a full qwerty keyboard that slides out from the bottom.

No word on suggested retail price or release date in Asia but it’s good to see a lot of handset manufacturers getting the Android OS into their mobile phones. Read More>>

m-Book W700 Latest released..

Mouse Computer has released new laptop series, the m-Book W700. In case you don’t remember they presented a powerful laptop on December 2008 named NextGear-Note M750WX1.

Anyhow, this new m-Book series include 4 notebooks that have a 15.6-inch screen and a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The graphics card is from GeForce, more specifically the G105M that has 512MB of VRAM. The processor can either be a Celeron 550, or an Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 or P9700. As for the hard-drive, you can pick the small 250GB, the medium 320GB, or the large 500GB version.

Android OS on Motorola Dext

Motorola has finally announced its own Android-powered smartphone. Officially dubbed the Motorola Dext, it will be sold in the US under a different name (Motorola Cliq).

Dext will have a customizable homescreen powered by MotoBlur that continuously syncs your phone and email contacts with your friends from Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Looks like Motorola is banking on a social smartphone.

Nokia's new X-series Mobile Phones

The new X-series mobile phones of Nokia has now been formally revealed and they started it with the Nokia X6 touchscreen a slider Nokia X3.

Not sure how Nokia will differentiate this from the N-Series or the XPressMusic but these two handsets looked cool (and reminds me of an Ericsson phone before).


The Nokia X6 has a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 32GB of storage, and boasts of 35 hours of music playback. Not really that slim at 14mm but nonetheless looking sexy. It has 3G/HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and a 5MP Carl Zeiss optics. Read More>>
